Hey homeowners, here is an opportunity for you to come out and learn about an easy way to convert turf into a planting bed so you can see less of your lawnmower, watering hose and chemicals.

With your help, we’ll plant a demonstration garden of native sun-loving perennials and shrubs that can take the place of a lawn with minimal maintenance requirements. 

While we’re building, we’ll explain how alternatives to turf and healthier soil prevent flooding, mitigate drought, improve water quality and put money back in your pocket.

Bring your gardening questions and plans and get advice for your own property.

Stay for an hour, stay for the day. Lunch, literature and refreshments provided.
